A church in Alton is hoping to help people tackle their addictive habits with a nine-week course.

Fresh Start by Harvest Church is a programme that aims to help anyone with a life-controlling habit such as smoking, gambling, drinking, over-eating, drugs, and more. It will start with an introduction session on Wednesday, October 9 from 7.30pm to 9pm at Alton Maltings.

Led by Mark and Anna, the sessions are based on principles from the 12-steps-of-recovery process. Backed by one to one coaching and a support group of others wanting to tackle their habits. It's free and completely confidential.

The course is also about marking important milestones, Fresh Start is focused on celebrating individuals' achievements and recognises that encouragement leads to real change.

If you, or anyone you know, needs a fresh start, register for the course by calling Mark Rumsby on 07769 030 913 or email [email protected]
