Hazmat team sent to Milwaukee City Hall to investigate package

A hazmat team is investigating a package sent on Friday to the fifth floor, where the city Election Commission is located, at Milwaukee City Hall.
Milwaukee Fire Department Deputy Chief Travis Jones said he could not confirm whom or what department the package was sent to or other details. People were still able to enter and exit City Hall while the Fire Department was on site.
People were being instructed not to go to the fifth floor.
A city spokesperson said the response was out an "abundance of caution" and to protect city workers.On Friday morning, multiple fire department vehicles were gathered around city hall, including three fire trucks.
