Lee Health's HealthPark Care Center Skilled Nursing Facility added to list of America's Best Nursing Homes
Lee Health announced that the HealthPark Care Center Skilled Nursing Facility has earned a national recognition and will be featured on the list of America's Best Nursing Homes 2025 from Newsweek and Statista.
This year's list recognizes 1,050 nursing homes across the 25 states with the highest number of facilities, according to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data. The top nursing homes in each state were assessed and ranked based on four pillars: performance data, recommendations of medical professionals, accreditations and resident satisfaction. Lee Health's Health- Park Care Center ranked 16th of the approximately 700 nursing homes in Florida.
"This recognition is a testament to our entire team and our commitment to continuously providing high-quality, collaborative, patient-centered care for our skilled nursing patients," said Dr. Scott Nygaard, chief operating officer for Lee Health. "I am proud to work alongside such a compassionate, hardworking and dedicated team."
The best 1,050 nursing homes are awarded with a rank in their own state, resulting in 20 individual lists for nursing homes with 50-99 beds and 25 individual lists for nursing homes with 100-149 beds and for nursing homes with at least 150 beds.
HealthPark Care Center is a 112-bed facility located at 16131 Roserush Ct., Fort Myers. All three of Lee Health's skilled nursing facilities provide seamless patient transitions and the amenities, services and comfort of a hospital. Whether recovering from joint surgery, a stroke, heart surgery, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or any other medical conditions, the goal is to help patients with their rehabilitation and prepare them to return to their normal lives. ¦
