Students gather round to excitedly watch the reveal as they begin a three-second countdown to the big announcement.

But Aisha misses the deadline as she continues to battle with the powder canon - set to release blue or pink cloud depending on the baby's gender.

Ripples of laughter echo round the group and Aisha wipes her hands to improve her grip before she gives it another go.

The canon finally pops - several attempts later - and a puff of pink smoke bursts into the sky.
