The Pac-12 Championship Game is the most consequential game to the Heisman Trophy race.

Nix can confirm his status as Heisman favorite with a win, or Penix can make a last-minute push for first-place votes in the national spotlight.

Nix comes into Friday with four straight 350-yard passing performances and 16 touchdown passes in that span.

The Oregon quarterback has 3,906 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns and just two interceptions.

If he produces another stellar showing and avenges his only loss to Washington, he could lock up the Heisman.

Penix threw multiple touchdowns in each of his last five games, but he only eclipsed the 300-yard mark twice in that span, which puts him at a disadvantage compared to Nix's recent form.

Daniels finished his regular season with 3,812 passing yards, 1,134 rushing yards and 50 total touchdowns.

The LSU quarterback had a marvelous season, but not playing for a conference title could hurt him in comparison to the pair of Pac-12 quarterbacks.
