Enjoy being in the thick of the Halloween-Thanksgiving-Christmas pipeline this weekend! Whether you're getting ready to Jingle Bell Rock — or still trying to avoid carols and ornaments for just a little while longer — here are a few things to do around town this weekend.
Holiday Market and Tree Lighting
Get into the holiday spirit at the Strip District Terminal on Friday. They will be lighting up the Terminal's Christmas tree — and celebrating this hallmark of the Christmas season with a holiday market, alongside the center's regular vendors.
The market will also feature food, warm drinks and live entertainment throughout the evening. It's a perfect kickoff for holiday shopping and a season of good cheer.

Jim Gaffigan at PPG Paints Arena
Comedian Jim Gaffigan will come to PPG Paints Arena Saturday night with his "Barely Alive Tour."
The comedian and actor has made a number of smash-hit stand-up specials, including 2012's "Mr. Universe." He's seen as a "clean comic" and employs hilarious observations about everyday life, especially parenting and food.
His show at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday will start at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at ppgpaintsarena.com .
Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer
Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer will be holding its largest event yet on Saturday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.
More than 100 vendors will be set up throughout the day to sell antiques and vintage items, including Pittsburgh sports and Pittsburgh-themed memorabilia. Jewelry, furniture and other collectibles will also be offered.
The mixer will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Convention Center. General admission (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) is $10 at the door, with reduced admissions (3 to 5 p.m.) at $5, and kids under 12 are admitted for free.

Tucker Wetmore at Stage AE
Country singer Tucker Wetmore will play at Stage AE on Pittsburgh's North Shore on Saturday night. The up-and-coming musician is known for recent hit songs "Wine Into Whiskey" and "Wind Up Missin' You."
His "Waves on a Sunset" tour — named for his recent EP — will bring its all-ages show to Stage AE. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

One Day to Remember's 5K Bo Run
Participate in a 5K run, a one-mile family-friendly walk, or virtually with this fundraiser on Sunday. The run will benefit One Day to Remember, an organization that gives one fun, carefree day to children who are dealing with a parent who is battling advanced-stage cancer.
The run will begin at the North Park Boathouse in Allison Park, starting at 9 a.m. There will be prizes for first, second and third in men's and women's runs, and participants can also enjoy breakfast from Driftwood Oven, face painting, live music and other benefits.
