Here's The Thanksgiving Week WI Weather Forecast
MILWAUKEE — Thanksgiving week will feature much cooler weather than what we have been enjoying for most of November.
"Rain will move in this evening and then persist into Tuesday," the National Weather Service said. "Snow may mix in with the rain for a time early tomorrow, particularly from Madison northwestward. Dry weather and seasonable temperatures are expected for Wednesday and Thanksgiving."
The low on Thanksgiving Day will be around 28 degrees in the Milwaukee area, according to the NWS.
Here's the week-ahead NWS forecast from the Milwaukee Airport:
Tuesday: Rain before 1pm, then a chance of showers between 1pm and 5pm. High near 43. Breezy, with a northeast wind 10 to 20 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind around 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32. Southwest wind around 10 mph.
Thanksgiving Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 37.
Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
Sunday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 40.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38.
