Holyoke Health receives funding for career training center
HOLYOKE, Mass (WWLP) – Holyoke Health received a $1 million jump-start for their new careers training center.
The center is in collaboration with many local colleges to create an education and training center in Western Massachusetts and address the need for well-trained healthcare workers.
"The center will serve as a hub to train the next generation of health care providers and health care workers and ensure that our communities have access to the high quality of care that they deserve," said Alejandro Esparza-Perez, CEO of Holyoke Health Center.
The center will be used to train and educate locally sourced healthcare professionals through state-of-the-art training and hands-on learning opportunities. From the classroom to the exam room.
The funding is part of the FY24 budget.
