HomeGoods in Amarillo now hiring ahead of grand opening

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - HomeGoods is now hiring ahead of its grand opening in Amarillo.

Workforce Solutions Panhandle is currently hosting a hiring event for those interested in part-time and full-time positions at HomeGoods.

The event is taking place at the Workforce Solutions Panhandle building this week.

"With the growth of all of these companies coming into the area and growing within our area, it's important for people to get out and look for opportunities, look for these events that are coming up," said Phillip Flores, business service representative for the Workforce Solutions Panhandle.

The store's grand opening is set for October 17.

"For anyone who is interested in the HomeGoods event, they will be here for the remainder of this week up until Wednesday next week from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.," said Flores.

HomeGoods is hiring for a retail department supervisor, retail sales associate and a part-time merchandise associate.
