Hometown Olympian Taliyah Brooks to host youth track & field camp in Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls' hometown Olympian Taliyah Brooks is set to host a youth track and field camp in her hometown. Brooks will return to Texoma to share a thing or two about her sport with young aspiring athletes. The camp is scheduled for 3-6pm on Saturday November 23, 2024 at City View High School. Athletes ages 10-17 are welcome to attend. Tickets for the camp can be purchased here. Taliyah is fresh off her appearance representing team USA at the 2024 summer Olympic games in Paris. She competed in the heptathlon, finishing in 11th place. Heptathletes are so versatile. They run sprints, hurdles and middle distance, also competing in the high jump, long jump, javelin throw and shot put.
