Honduran man sentenced for sexually coercing West Virginia girl
a. ( DC News Now ) — Officials sentenced a Honduran man to federal prison Monday for coercing and enticing a 10-year-old girl in Jefferson County.
The U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Northern District of West Virginia said that court documents and statements showed that 24-year-old Daniel Eliazar Ramos Rosa shared over 1,000 messages (including photos and videos) with the victim, a 10-year-old girl, on Snapchat.
The USAO said that Rosa eventually traveled to the girl's home in West Virginia to engage in sexual activity with her, which he recorded on his phone.

A judge sentenced Rosa to 327 months in federal prison for this crime. The USAO said that he will also be on a lifetime of supervised release after his sentence.
