Hospice of Wichita Falls gears up for tree-lighting campaign

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Next week marks the return of a Wichita Falls hallmark, as Hospice of Wichita Falls begins its annual Tree of Lights campaign to light the iconic decoration. To prepare for the campaign, Hospice of Wichita Falls hosted a luncheon today. The goal this year is to raise $300,000. Hospice development coordinator Madeline Eubanks said money from the campaign will go toward making sure anyone who needs hospice care can access it. "We really work to have a very home like feel in our inpatient care center and we want families to feel like they're at home. They can bring anything from home that they want to into those inpatient care suites so that they feel comfortable. We want them to have the privacy that they have. That they can gather together. And so that's a little different from the hospital setting," Eubanks said.
