The final concert in the Hub & Soul concert series this year is set for Friday, Sept. 27, from 6-9 p.m. at the Union Plaza Amphitheater.

Hot Dealers will be the first act and Rascal Martinez will follow.

Recently adding a fourth band member, Hot Dealers promises to deal up some hot new hits. Sharing their love of indie rock music, this quartet plays a spunky sound with various instruments, including a unique touch from the flautist. They solidify their lineup by showcasing psychedelic rock throughout the local live scene. The band displays layered orchestration, vocal harmonies, clever lyrics and a love for what they do.

Rascal Martinez, a singer/songwriter based out of North Platte, Nebraska, is a multi-instrumentalist musician who has performed around the world, connecting with listeners through a mix of styles, Indie-Rock and Americana. Audiences are able to see themselves in his songs as he shares heartfelt stories about exploring the trials of love and relationships. While wearing his heart on his sleeve, Martinez shares a wide array of classic rock along with his own eclectic original material. Although he enjoys sharing his own original material, he also can appreciate hits from the '50s and '60s along with other genres. His work channels a fresh yet familiar style.

Admission to Hub & Soul is free and is designed for people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate local musicians, local food and Lincoln's parks.
