How to watch Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders: NFL Week 12 Game Time and Channel

The Dallas Cowboys are back home for their annual Thanksgiving home game, which this year invites the Washington Commanders for an NFC East matchup. Their game follows the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers, and it will be at 4:30 p.m. Eastern on Thursday from AT&T Stadium on CBS .

It is part of Week 12 of the NFL season, which has four Thursday games for the holiday with another one on Thursday before the Sunday slate of games to stream and watch.

Cowboys vs. Commanders matchup preview

While the Cowboys (7-3) are looking up to the Philadelphia Eagles in the division, they won they bring a two-game win streak back to Arlington after a 33-10 rout of the Carolina Panthers and rookie quarterback Bryce Young.

Dallas made sure playing the NFL’s worst team wasn’t a trap before Thanksgiving, as Dak Prescott threw two TD passes and 189 yards, while cornerback DaRon Bland tied an NFL record with his fourth pick-six interception of the season.

Prescott has thrown for 300 yards or more in three of his last four games, having that streak end against the Panthers, but Washington gave up three TD passes to Tommy DeVito in its 31-19 home loss to the New York Giants.

Injuries of note

Washington lost defensive end Efe Obada, who was carted off last week with a leg injury. The Commanders also were without running back Antonio Gibson because of a toe injury.

For Dallas, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch is out for the year with a neck injury. Cornerbacks C.J. Goodwin (pectoral) and Trevon Diggs (ACL) also are on injured reserve and out for the year.

Players to watch

Bland looks to break his tie for pick-sixes in a year. He holds that mark with Philadelphia’s Eric Allen (1993), Kansas City’s Jim Kearney (1972) and Houston’s Ken Houston (1971).

Prescott’s 2,604 yards passing this season ranks him in the top 10 for the league. He also has a top five passer rating of 104.0, while receiver CeeDee Lamb’s 1,067 yards for scrimmage is in the top five.

Washington quarterback Sam Howell has been sacked a league-high 51 times, which could allow Micah Parsons and the Dallas defense to feast with their pass rush this Thanksgiving. Parsons has 10 sacks on the year.
