The American League Central champion Guardians put forth a dominant effort in the ALDS opener on Saturday with a 7-0 shutout win over Detroit. Lane Thomas hit a three-run homer to cap a five-run first inning that starting pitcher Tanner Bibee and the Cleveland bullpen held up by allowing just four hits and five total bases.
