How to watch Ravens at Chargers: time, channels, details, free live stream

The Baltimore Ravens (8-3) will try to continue their run Sunday night when they visit SoFi Stadium for a game against the reeling Los Angeles Chargers (4-6-1).

The game is scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. and air on NBC and Peacock (discount) and live stream on fubo TV (FREE trial), Sling TV (first-month discount) and DirecTV Stream (discount).

Baltimore figures to put the ball in the hands of running backs Gus Edwards and Keaton Mitchell on Sunday night to make up for the absence of tight end Mark Edwards, who was hurt in a win over Cincinnati in its most recent game, on Nov. 16. He had surgery, although coach John Harbaugh didn’t completely rule out a possible return this season.

There’s also this fact: the Ravens need Jackson around for the playoffs, but he has gotten hurt around this time of the year in each of the last two seasons.

It was Week 12 last season when Jackson suffered a knee injury against Denver. Two years ago, Jackson was sidelined in Week 13 when he injured an ankle against Cleveland.

When it comes to remaining healthy this season, Jackson is trying to keep things simple — just don’t get hit.

“I’ll say I don’t slide, but I get down. I get under hits; I’ll say that but that’s it I guess,” he told The Associated Press. “That’s all I know – don’t get hit.”

Jackson is fifth in the league in completion percentage (69.5%) and sixth in passer rating (100.1). Their run game is the best in the league, averaging 155.1 yards per game. Edwards is second among AFC running backs with 10 touchdowns on the ground. Rookie WR Zay Flowers leads the team with 53 catches for 588 yards.

After tonight, the Ravens will take their bye week and then play host to the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 10.

Even though Baltimore finishes the season with road games against Jacksonville and San Francisco followed by home dates against Miami and Pittsburgh, it should be rested for the stretch run.

The Ravens have their bye next week before hosting the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 10.

Out on the other coast, Chargers coach Brandon Staley has had more and more criticism dumped on him after losing consecutive three-point games to Detroit and Green Bay.

“I don’t think that structurally there needs to be a change. We’re working through adjustments with personnel,” coach Brandon Staley said about the defense. “Just getting the right combination of players out there that will execute consistently.”

Chargers receiver Keenan Allen leads the league with 83 receptions and is fourth in receiving yards (1,011) despite teams double-covering him. QB Justin Herbert figues to count heavily on Allen again or check down to running back Austin Ekeler as the other receivers struggle with drops.

“We haven’t done what we would like to do out there. It’s tough for us, but the only thing we can focus on now is the next one. We’re not going to let these past ones affect our next performance,” Herbert told The Associated Press.
