Both teams are coming off tough, and rather strange losses.

The Broncos, behind their rookie quarterback Bo Nix, fell behind the Los Angeles Chargers early at home last Sunday. However, despite trailing 23-0 in the second half, the team rallied to make things interesting but fell short 23-16. There are still some growing pains for Sean Payton's team to overcome, especially with the franchise rebuilding around a young quarterback. Yet, with their determination to get back in the game last week, Denver is on the right path toward being a successful team in the future.

Right now, in the Big Easy, people are trying to figure out what the future holds for the Saints. After bursting out of the gate with two dominant offensive performances against the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans has lost each of its last four games, including an embarrassing finish last Sunday in an NFC South battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints somehow erased a 17-point deficit to lead at halftime but gave up 27 unanswered points, leading to a 51-27 loss. With Derek Carr still doubtful for Thursday night, New Orleans is going to have to rely on their rookie QB, Spencer Rattler, to try and snap the skid.

The Broncos are 9-3 against the Saints, though New Orleans won the last meeting in 2020.
