There is no bigger surprise at the beginning of the 2024 season than how the Jaguars have played. The team has struggled to get the ball moving on a consistent basis, even though Trevor Lawrence came into the year with a full bill of health. Jacksonville has only scored 20 points once this season, that coming in a tough loss to another AFC South rival, the Houston Texans, last Sunday. As the only winless team remaining in the NFL this season, the Jaguars need to find a way to improve their offensive schemes, because their defense has been doing its best for the most part.

The Colts were looking like they were heading toward a long season with how they started the season. However, the team has bounced back from early-season losses to the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers. After outlasting the Chicago Bears in Week 3, Indianapolis managed to outlast the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, even with losing their starting quarterback, Anthony Richardson. Even though they got off to a sluggish start, the Colts' play has been good enough to stay in the hunt for a division title. The only challenge will be for them to keep up this pace for an entire season.

Sunday will mark the 47th meeting between the two rivals, with the Colts leading the series, 27-19. However, the Jags have won four of the past five matchups, including sweeping the season series last year.
