I moved to Australia from England. Is it just me or are they impossible to get along with?

A British expat travelling around Australia has been dubbed a 'whingeing pom' after claiming Aussies are difficult to get along with.

Kyle was left questioning his sense of humour after interacting with locals Down Under.

'Is it just me or are Australians really f***ing hard to get along with?' he asked in a now-viral video.

'I don't mean they're rude or anything, although some can be. But in my experience, it's really hard to have a laugh with Australians. They just don't get it.

'You try and throw a little one-liner in and have a bit of banter and you're just met with the most stone-cold face in the world.'

Kyle added he 'doesn't understand' why this is the case since Australians 'speak the same language'.

Within 48 hours the video exceeded more than 92,000 views and many pointed out it comes down to a difference in sense of humour.

However, others argued Kyle is 'the problem'.

'Nah mate it's all you,' one wrote.

'A Pom? Whingeing? I have never seen something like this in my life!' another said.

'Us Australians have our own humour,' a third added.

Someone else said: 'Australians are the funniest people I've ever met! (I'm British).'

'We like our dark humour,' another added.

One encouraged Kyle to visit New Zealand instead.

'I'm Irish, and find the Aussies and Kiwis some of the easiest people to get along with,' a man argued.

However, others agreed with Kyle.

'I had the same issue with the English when I was there.. we are just different I guess,' an Australian said.

'I'm Australian and I agree with you English people are easier to get along with,' another wrote.
