I-95 Northbound closed in Groton due to crash

GROTON, Conn. (WTNH) — I-95 Northbound is closed in Groton due to a two-vehicle crash, according to the Department of Transportation (DOT).

State police said that the incident happened at around 10 p.m. when a car hit a parked construction vehicle between exits 88 and 89. Injuries have been reported, but the extent is unknown at this time.

The operator of the car was responsive and is now out of the vehicle.
