I played with Aaron Rodgers last time in an NFL London Game - I can't wait to go against him in England now

AARON Jones can't wait for a "crazy" reunion with a former Green Bay Packers teammate turned rival in London.

Jones and his Minnesota Vikings face Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets in a showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 29-year-old running back played six seasons in Green Bay with Rodgers under center.

That included a trip to London when the Packers took on the New York Giants in 2022.

And Jones is hoping to be on the winning team this weekend - while consigning Rodgers to another NFL London loss.

"It's going to be pretty cool," he told The Sun.

"It's going to be my first time playing against Aaron Rodgers - that's going to be crazy not on the same team as him.

"I know they love him across the pond but hopefully we get some love too - we've got a big fan base there."

Jones left Green Bay to join NFC North rivals Minnesota this summer.

He has loved every minute of playing for the Vikings from their purple uniforms to the 'SKOL' chant before the game.

Jones has scored three touchdowns already in four games and helped the team to an impressive 4-0 start.

"We set our standard and are going to continue working to play at a high level," Jones said.

"It was a big change having to pick up, move cities, pick up all my stuff, meet my new teammates.

"It's been great, they took me in with open arms and made me feel loved here and welcome.

"The community as well, this is home for me. They say God doesn't make mistakes and this is right where I'm supposed to be.

"I feel like I look good in the purple and yellow."

Minnesota can move to 5-0 with a win over the New York Jets - who enter Sunday's game with a 2-2 record.

Jones know what Jets quarterback Rodgers is capable of, but loves how Sam Darnold has led the Vikings.

"I have to give Sam his credit," the running back said.

"I've played with some good quarterbacks and I feel like he's right up there.

"He doesn't get the love that he should.

"But I'm proud of Sam and he's going to have our full support."
