I-81 South closed at Glade Spring due to fatal crash

GLADE SPRING, Va. (WJHL) — The southbound lanes of Interstate 81 have been shut down due to a fatal crash near Glade Spring, according to officials.

Virginia State Police has confirmed the crash was fatal and involved two vehicles.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), both southbound lanes are closed due to the crash, which involves a tractor-trailer.
