Identity released of woman struck, killed by tractor-trailer in central Pa.

A 64-year-old woman who died after she was struck by a tractor-trailer Tuesday evening has been identified.

Tina Aldinger, of York, died from multiple blunt force injuries after she was struck by a tractor-trailer around 5:53 p.m. on Arsenal Road, Route 30, near North George Street in Manchester Township, according to the York County coroner's office.

The coroner's office ruled the death accidental. She was later pronounced dead at 12:29 a.m. on Wednesday at WellSpan York Hospital, the coroner said.

The woman was walking across Arsenal Road when she was struck by the tractor-trailer, which was traveling eastbound on Arsenal Road, according to the coroner's office.

It was unclear if the woman was in a crosswalk at the busy intersection with seven lanes of traffic on one side and five lanes of traffic on the other.

Northern York County Regional police is investigating the crash.
