McFly's Danny Jones has taken a guitar into I'm A Celebrity as his luxury item which his six-year-old son drew a family portrait on with the words, 'We love you Daddy' scrawled across.

The singer, 38, shares Cooper Alf, six, with his wife of 10 years and former Miss England winner, Georgia Horsley, 37, and was spotted with the guitar in his luggage as he touched down at Brisbane Airport last week.

The star arrived Down Under last week with current King of the Jungle, Sam Thompson , former contestant Joel Dommett and the radio DJ Kemi Rodgers as the three are hosting a spin-off show together.

Beloved among thousands of McFly fans as a heartthrob, Danny is to be a sure hit in the Jungle as he is set to join the likes of Coleen Rooney , Maura Higgins and former X-Factor judge Tulisa .

The father-of-one, who has sold more than 10million records worldwide and earlier this year the Bolton-born singer won ITV 's reality singing competition, the Masked Singer, hidden under a gigantic Piranha costume.

As viewers chanted 'Take it off' to his mask, Cooper watched on and was delighted to discover it was his father he jumped off the sofa and hugged Danny screaming, 'Daddy, it's daddy'.

Thousands watched the touching moment which has since gone viral online.

It's been a successful year for the popstar as he also joined the prestigious judging panel of The Voice with the likes of Tom Jones and Will.i.am in the talent show's first 'double chair' beside his McFly bandmate, Tom Fletcher.

McFly rose to prominence in 2003 partly due to their association with Busted as they supported the noughties pop sensation on their tour.

Danny met Tom Fletcher when he auditioned for the boy band, V, and after discovering they shared common interests, the pair started writing songs with Dougie and Harry Judd, the drummer joining on.

And then, in 2013, the world supergroup McBusted was formed.

Having previously appeared as special guests during McFly's tenth-anniversary concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, it was announced Busted members James Bourne and Matt Willis would join McFly to form a six-piece pop-punk band, McBusted.

Their eleven-gig McBusted Tour quickly sold out and was extended to 34 shows.

The six-man band made their overseas debut a year later supporting One Direction on their Where We Are Tour.

In 2015 the group split but a reunion has never been ruled out, with Fletcher stating, 'This definitely doesn't feel like the end'.

Earlier this year, millennials were delighted as the two bands announced they were ready to take the stage once again in 2025 for the 'ultimate battle of the bands'.

Last month, James Bourne said: 'The whole tour is to find out who's a better band. Fans can decide. They can come and support their band and they might change their mind. It's going to be a fight to the death.'

The 'Vs' Tour was announced when Busted stormed on stage during McFly's recent 21st birthday show at London's O2 Arena.

McFly said: 'Busted have gatecrashed our show [not cool] and challenged us to a VS tour next year.

'They're old men now and we are going to blow them and their careers off the stage next year.'

To fulfil 'overwhelming fan demand', 21 shows were added to their tour of the UK and Ireland, with details of The Finals Battles - the last three shows in Newcastle, Birmingham and London- confirmed.
