Immokalee man, woman arrested on fentanyl related charges

Collier County deputies arrested an Immokalee man and woman after discovering fentanyl and other drugs during a traffic stop.

Moody S. Gadsden, 64, and Betty Walker, 47, are facing drug related charges after deputies arrested them on Thursday.

Around 8:30 p.m., deputies say they stopped a black truck for an equipment violation in the area of Eustis Avenue and 3rd Street in Immokalee.

Deputies talked to Gadsden, who was the driver, and Walker, the passenger, before they reportedly suspected narcotics and paraphernalia in the cup holder.

Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle where they say they found .1 grams of fentanyl.

According to reports, Walker was found to have crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia on her.

Gadsden is a convicted felon, per reports, and is facing fentanyl possession and narcotic paraphernalia charges.

According to reports, Gadsden was out on bond for cocaine possession and Walker was out on bond for cocaine possession with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a worship.

Walker is facing cocaine possession and possession of narcotic paraphernalia charges.
