Marisa Abela is not well, bitch. Not just because the third season of her hit HBO series " Industry " is averaging 1.6 million cross-platform viewers per episode and was recently renewed for a fourth season , but also because one of the show's fans happens to be a TV personality she's a fan of herself. In a recent interview with The Cut , Abela revealed the "Real Housewife" who reached out over social media to show her support and some other sources of entertainment for when she's not lighting up screens big and small.

"I love and watch most of the 'Housewives' franchises, which is really fun because Dorinda Medley is watching 'Industry' right now and DM-ing me live updates. It's the biggest thing ever," said Abela. "It was so funny because she was messaging me about it while I was in Venice with very important and impressive people in my industry, and I screamed because I got a DM from Dorinda Medley."

The "Back to Black" actress was at the Venice Film Festival, not promoting a film but serving as a brand ambassador for the Prada offset Miu Miu. The women's clothing and accessory line is known for collaborating with many female filmmakers for its advertisements, as well as recruiting actresses like Kirsten Dunst, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chloë Sevigny, Elle Fanning, and more to be its spokesmodels. At the 69th Venice Film Festival in 2011, they premiered the "Women's Tale" series, four shorts produced and directed by Zoe Cassavetes, Lucrecia Martel, Giada Colagrande, and Massy Tadjedin. They followed it up with a fifth installment in 2013 directed by Ava Duvernay. For Abela, working with Miu Miu was not only an opportunity to travel and schmooze with some of the best of the best but to support a company she really believes in.

"It was my first time in Venice, period. I've traveled a lot in Italy, and I've never done Venice, because I've always felt overwhelmed by how to do it properly, and this is the most insane way to go. But it was incredible," Abela said to The Cut. "And being around such talented filmmakers, going with Miu Miu, and listening to people talk about their careers was amazing. The brand is giving voice to many female filmmakers and actresses, and it was cool to be a part of it. And it was low stakes because I didn't have a movie to promote, but it was more enriching than I realized it would be. It wasn't just about wearing a really cute handbag."

In her off-time — when she is able to get it — Abela can most likely be found with a good book ("When I was reading 'Fourth Wing,' I was dreaming about dragons; those books get in your head more and become all-consuming") or taking in some reality TV that allows her to fantasize about future trips.

"I love watching shows about travel or food. I watched all of the Anthony Bourdain shows. I love 'Somebody Feed Phil' or 'MasterChef Australia.' I love a show that makes me feel like I'm gonna escape, like reality-based."
