NORTH CAROLINA (WGHP) — Election Day has passed and North Carolinians made their voices heard in a variety of races.

In the presidential election, Donald Trump won the state of North Carolina, receiving 51.1% of the vote and 2,876,398 votes in total. Kamala Harris received 47.7% of the vote and 2,684,549 votes in total.

But how did individual counties in North Carolina vote in the presidential election?

How did Triad counties vote?

Results varied across the Triad in the presidential election.

Harris won by a fairly large margin in Guilford County taking 60.2% of the vote and 170,034 votes in total to Trump's 38.4% and 108,610 votes.

Harris also won a majority of the votes in Forsyth County taking 55.8% of the vote and 112,038 votes in total to Trump's 43% and 86,353 votes.

However, in Randolph County, Trump earned an overwhelming majority of the votes at 78.3% and 59,112 votes in total to Harris' 21% and 15,873 votes.

The same was mostly true in Davidson County as well where Trump took 73.1% of the vote for a total of 67,497 votes to Harris' 25.8% and 23,841 votes.

Trump also won the vote by large margins in Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Davie, Wilkes and Yadkin County.
