Isabelle L. McMahon, formerly of Nanticoke, and a resident at Tiffany
Manor, Kingston, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in
Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Biaggio and Louise (Logudice)
Pugliese. She was a graduate of Hazleton High School and the Nanticoke State
Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at
Nanticoke State General Hospital before retiring. She was a member of St.
Francis Church, Nanticoke, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a
member of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, Nanticoke Hospital
Auxiliary, Lioness Club and the 400 Club Auxiliary. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Patrick; daughter, Patricia Ann; sisters, Lucille Valassa and
Christina Gaultierre; brothers, Alex, Anthony, Francis and Thomas. Surviving
are her son, Patrick, Buttonwood, Hanover Township; daughter, Kathleen Klocko,
Malvern; brother, Vincent, Hazleton; sisters, Ann Rose Matweecha and Elizabeth
Goulstone, both of Hazleton; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be
at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St.,
Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Francis Church.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.MD112Mon
