Island Hopper Fest kicks off on Captiva Island, aiming to boost local economy post-Hurricane Ian
The Island Hopper Fest kicks off on Captiva Island on Friday, and Lee County hopes this can bring big money back into the county as these islands continue to recover from Hurricane Ian.
On Friday, you can either head to the Mucky Duck, Southseas, Key Lime Bistro and other restaurants on Captiva that will be hosting the nearly 90 singer and songwriters from Nashville and across the nation.
The event is broken up into four locations.
After Captiva has its share of the music fest, next will be Cape Coral; followed by Downtown Fort Myers and ending on Fort Myers Beach.
The big headliner this year is 2011 "American Idol" winner, Scotty McCreery.
The Island Hopper is expected to attract thousands of people to Lee County.
Some of these events are already sold out so get your tickets while you can.
