Jacksonville man claims $1 million prize after playing Florida Lottery

A man turned $20 into a $1 million after he played the Florida Lottery.

Charles Dennison, 59, of Jacksonville, claimed a $1 million prize from the Gold Rush Legacy scratch-off game after he purchased a winning ticket from Winn Dixie. Dennison chose to receive his win as a one-time payment of $640,000.

The Florida Lottery says the retailer who sold the ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus commission.
