Jalen Hurts injury update with fears over Philadelphia Eagles QB following incident spotted in practice
JALEN HURTS has sparked fresh injury fears after a worrying incident in practice.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is regarded as one of the best in the NFL.
He has been with his side since 2020 after being selected as a round 2 pick in the draft.
And Hurts has gone from strength to strength in the sport, helping the Eagles to their Super Bowl LVII defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs last year.
Hurts was front and centre in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
But he is now an injury doubt for this weekend's trip to the Dallas Cowboys.
According to ESPN , Hurts sparked fitness fears when he appeared at practice on Wednesday.
While teammates took to the field on time, the 26-year-old Houston native came out a little while later.
He then proceeded to undergo an individual warm-up with a person trainer.
And he did not take a rep during his drills either.
It now remains to be seen if Hurts will be ready in time for the crunch clash against the Cowboys.
Fans reacted in dismay to the news on social media.
One said: "So my fantasy team is cooked this week?"
Another declared: "This is not allowed lol."
One noted: "Nope, don't like that."
Another added: "Don't do this to me."
