James, Smith, Max Plante probable for Miami series

Dominic James, Jack Smith and Max Plante probable for Miami series The Bulldogs men's hockey program is ... almost ... back to full strength. Senior center and captain Dominic James, junior center Jack Smith and freshman wing Max Plante were all on the ice for Wednesday's practice, and none of the three injured Bulldogs were in a non-contact jerseys. Coach Scott Sandelin listed all three as probable for the 6:05 p.m. games Friday and Saturday against Miami in Oxford, Ohio. James left Friday's game against North Dakota in the second period with an undisclosed injury and then was out of the lineup Saturday. Smith has missed the last three games with an injury that he suffered on Oct. 25 against Stonehill. Plante suffered an upper body injury in the Oct. 5 season opener against Bemidji State.
