Jan E. (Haring) Bertolet, 45, of Wyomissing, PA, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph F. Bertolet. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of Cheryl W. (Calvaresi) Haring and the late Paul K. Haring. Jan graduated from Wilson High School and Shippensburg University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish. While an undergraduate, she studied at the University of Seville in Spain. Jan loved life, her family, and her friends. Jan loved The Bertolet beach vacations and The Haring cruises. Jan loved going to Ocean City NJ with her boys. She loved teaching and interacting with people. Jan would have done anything for anyone and was truly a kind soul. She was truly thankful for every family member and friend she had. She taught us how to fight. She taught us to love each other. She taught us to be kind. In her hardest moment she still thought of others. She wanted to share this advice with everyone."Love each other, Smile often, Smell the rain, Cry when you need to, Believe in yourself, Pray often, Be thankful, Never give up, and most importantly be happy".
