Janice Renninger Obituary
Janice E. (Hartman) Renninger, 83, of Boyertown, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Pottstown Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Boyertown, Janice was the daughter of the late Arthur Hartman and Dorothy (Werner) Hartman.
Janice was a 1959 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and went on to work at Boyertown Packaging for forty-three years.
Janice enjoyed gardening and doing crafts. Her beautifully crocheted items include afghans, Christmas ornaments, doilies, bookmarks, and more. She was an active presence on South Reading Avenue where she lived on the second floor for fifty-seven years. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her practical wisdom, and her no-nonsense attitude toward life.
Janice is survived by three nieces, Jeanne (Hartman) Van Briesen of Pittsburgh, Deborah (Hartman) St. Louis of Ballwin, Missouri, and Tara Miller of Boyertown.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Mary L. (Hartman) Miller, her brother, Carl D. Hartman, and her nephew, John Eric Hartman.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512. A funeral service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
