Jeopardy! is supposed to be a wholesome family program, but things got a little steamy for fans when the game show invited a Catholic priest to be a contestant.

Father Steve Jakubowski appeared on the episode that aired Thursday, September 19, and like any other contestant, he was ready for some trivia. What he may not have prepared for, however, was a different type of attention he received from fans.

Fans were swooning during the episode with one saying, "This Jeopardy contestant is a PRIEST? I'm about to convert," on their X (formerly known as Twitter ) account, while another added, "There's a hot priest on jeopardy now??????" A third fan admitted "I am an atheist but I would def consider becoming a Catholic for Father Steve..... #jeopardy."

Jakubowski, 29, put up a good fight against the other contestants but was not crowned the winner of the night. Despite the fact that the "hot priest" ultimately lost, he mentioned to Fox News Digital that Jeopardy! was "a great experience" and that "Ken and all the producers and team were very kind to me with the novelty of having a Catholic priest on the show, I hope it gave a positive impression of my community and the Church. The show airs at 3:30 where I live in Austin, and so we had a watch party at our parish school with our students and their parents - tons of fun to share that with our parish."

The Michigan native made such an impactful impression on viewers that they've been demanding his return pleading immediately bring back Father Steve for 'Second Chance.'"
