Jeri Fisher, Beloved Baker and Family Matriarch, Dies at 71
Jeri Fisher, 71, of Racine, died peacefully on Oct. 29, 2024, at her son's home. Born on Dec. 29, 1952, to Curtis and Myrtle Hipke, Jeri was known for her unwavering love and devotion to her family.
Beloved baker and nurturing spiritJeri's passion for baking brought warmth to countless holiday celebrations. Her special lamb cake , reserved for first birthdays, Easter, and Christmas, became a treasured tradition. Beyond her culinary talents, she was known for her independent spirit and love for taking long drives, even without a set destination.
Survived by family and friendsJeri is survived by her husband, Robert Fisher; son, Jerame (Maria) Leger; six siblings; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin daughters.
