Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $2.4 million sold at N.J. deli

A jackpot-winning Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $2,439,721 was purchased at a deli in Monmouth County for Thursday's drawing, officials said.

The lucky ticket was sold at Wilson Avenue Deli on Wilson Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, the New Jersey Lottery said Friday.

The jackpot is the largest won by a single ticket holder this year. No one had hit the jackpot for the daily drawing for 11 days prior to Thursday's drawing.
