Joaquin Niemann put up a good fight against Jon Rahm, who won the 2024 Individual Championship title. The Chilean star secured the runner-up position after finishing in the top 10 in ten out of the thirteen appearances he made. This includes his wins at Mayakoba and Jeddah. The 25-year-old golf phenom is now headed for the final event of the season in the breakaway league – the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas.

His team is currently ranked fifth in the standings. After coming so close to the ultimate win in Chicago, the captain will give everything he has to win with his team. But what will be his equipment?

Joaquin Niemann's arsenal for the Team Championship Joaquin Niemann has been using the same brand's equipment ever since he turned pro back in 2018. When it comes to the primary club in his set, he opts for the PING G430 LST Driver. He uses it with a 10.5-degree loft, pairing it with the Graphite Design DI 6-X shaft. The driver is priced at $579.99 and has helped him secure the third position on the driving distance list, averaging 322.1 yards.

For Fairway Woods, the 1X DP World Tour winner has one 3-wood and one 5-wood in his bag. The first is the G430 MAX Fairway, which he uses with a 15-degree loft and equips with a Graphite Design DI 8-X black shaft. The second is the PING G425 MAX Fairway at 20.5 degrees, which he has adjusted to 19.5 degrees. He uses it with the same shaft. The woods are priced at $349.99 per club.

For hybrids, he uses the PING G430 as his iron substitute, which helps him in his long game with its exceptional speed and distance coverage. It also launches high and stops softly, allowing the Torque GC captain to find the green from a longer range. Niemann uses the Blueprint S Irons (5-PW) for his irons, pairing them with a Project X 6.0 shaft. These irons have an empty cavity equipped with technology that creates pockets in the clubs. They are priced at $235 per club.

Joaquin Niemann's companions for the greens For wedges, the 25-year-old golfer opts for the PING S159 Wedges (52, 56, and 60 degrees), priced at $179.99 per club. These help him with his exceptional short-game skills. Niemann uses the 52-degree model for full approach shots and the 56 and 60-degree models around the greens. The wedges also feature a new MicroMax texture between the grooves, which helps generate more spin.

Joaquin Niemann ranks 11th on the LIV Golf putting average list with 1.57. He has achieved this with his PING PLD Anser Custom putter. He uses it with a 3-degree loft and 23-degree lie, pairing it with a chrome shaft and matte raw finish. The Torque GC captain completes his set with the Titleist Pro V1X ball, just like most other pros.
