Job fair for SCI Rockview, Benner Township to have onsite interviews

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Onsite interviews will be available for open positions at SCI Rockview and SCI Benner Township at a job fair next week.

The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) said the goal of the job fair was to fill several positions at both State Correctional Institutes (SCI).

While the event is for both locations, the job fair will happen at SCI Benner Township (2221 Benner Pike, Bellefonte) Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 12 – 6 p.m. No appointment or registration is required to attend, though it is encouraged to apply online beforehand by clicking here .

Attended should also bring two forms of ID.

Onsite interviews will take place on the day of the event for corrections officer trainees.

Both facilities are hiring for corrections officer trainees and other positions across multiple fields, the DOC added. Those interested are reminded that the DOC has lowered the minimum age requirement for correction officer trainees to 18 from 21 years old.
