Revelry Cannabis Festival, headlined by rapper Joey Bada$$ , is set to deliver a unique NYC cannabis cultural experience this weekend. The two-day event combines business networking, education, and cultural celebration, and will take place on October 4th and 5th at Pier 36 in Manhattan, New York. The event, hosted by On The Revel and sponsored by Weedmaps , starts Friday with The Revelry Buyer's Club , an industry focused day of networking. But on Saturday, Revelry opens up to welcome the entire adult cannabis community (you just need to be 21+ to attend). Attendees will be treated to a vibrant mix of music, speakers, and cannabis venders, with performances from Joey Bada$$ , Kota The Friend and Odalys .

We reached out to Revelry's organizers, On The Revel 's co-founders ,Jacobi Holland and Lulu Tsui to learn more about what attendees can expect from the upcoming cannabis festival.

"We are thrilled to host this two-day event, which not only highlights cutting-edge business advancements but also celebrates the rich cultural diversity of our community." Holland shared. "Our goal is to create an event that feels welcoming, thoughtful, and ultimately beneficial for everyone's respective business aspirations."

The event started 8 years ago as a small meetup group, but has grown into one of the largest cannabis events in New York.

"We wanted to create a space that was a true reflection of the cannabis community." Holland explained. "We had first-hand seen the harms of the War on Drugs but also we'd seen the exploitation of the cannabis industry in the recently legalized states so we wanted our event to be a microcosm of the new type of cannabis industry that we envisioned for New York—that respects the original operators that built the industry during prohibition."

"Revelry is a testament to the vibrancy of our community and the influence of New York as a cultural epicenter," added co-founder Tsui. "By featuring an eclectic mix of artistic performances, cultural speakers, art installations, and culinary rising stars from around New York, we aim to provide attendees with a sensory journey that celebrates the unique cultural tapestry of the state and fosters a deeper appreciation for the intersection of New York cannabis and culture."

In addition to the musical performances, the Saturday cannabis festival will feature an array of speakers including Keynote speaker Angela Yee , Jamie Collins and Chef Nikki . For those who want to discover new cannabis options or learn more about their favorites directly from the brands, there will also be over 100 local brands showcasing and selling their products. "Consumers can literally meet the teams, scan a QR code, and have their products delivered directly to them thanks to our partners Delivery Fulfillment Partners, The Travel Agency and Doobie ," Holland explained.

There is also a cannabis consumption tent for those who want to enjoy smoking or vaping cannabis during the event.

"We design the consumption areas to be engaging but also respectful of the hundreds of people who come for the music, food, or panels but don't necessarily want to be surrounded by smoke." Holland explained, adding that the consumption tent is someplace "where attendees can roll up, smoke from bongs or vapes, and relax on comfortable furniture while enjoying a great view of the stage."

Holland highlights that the festival's design thinking and user-centered approach are key to its success. "Our events are always welcoming, the content is actionable, and the room is always filled with 'dope people.'"
