John Arthur Stenberg

February 20, 1940 - March 11, 2024

CENTER - John Arthur Stenberg was born on February 20, 1940 in Center, ND and passed away suddenly at the age of 84 from a stroke and complications from Alzheimer's on March 11, 2024 in Missouri City, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; and their sons: Robert and wife, Susan and Michael and wife, Lisa; also survived by his brother, George and wife, Claudia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Pauline Stenberg and his brothers: Herb and Clarence. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Allison and husband, Dillon Watson, Maddie Stenberg, Tyler Stenberg and wife, Darby; great-grandsons: Ellis and Brooks Watson; and many nieces and nephews. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him but we know he is at peace sipping a margarita and reading a good book with Jesus.

John's funeral service with Naval Honors will be held at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, MT on October 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
