FLOYDADA, Texas (KCBD) - It's almost time for Punkin' Days in Floydada! Every year, on the second Saturday in October, Floydada celebrates being the pumpkin capital of the USA by having a "punkin" themed festival, including 100 vendors, games for the whole family, raffles, team roping and a live concert and dance. The Floydada Chamber of Commerce assures visitors they will find something fun for the whole family! This year, the big day will be Saturday, Oct. 12 in downtown Floydada. You can find the full schedule here on Facebook. Or you can come out for the 5K Punkin Run, starting from the Northeast side of Square at City Auto. Sign in is at 8:30 a.m. Run starts at 9 a.m.
