Jon Stewart is the latest to ridicule MSNBC hosts over Trump visit: ‘You said he was Hitler’

Add Jon Stewart to the list of people unimpressed by MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski's so-called reset with President-elect Donald Trump .

The host of "The Daily Show" mocked the couple for traveling to Mar-a-Lago to meet the incoming president after a seven-year hiatus.

"Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump," Brzezinski said in a clip aired by Stewart. "And for those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back, why wouldn't we?"

"Uh, because you said he was Hitler," Stewart responded.

Liberals have attacked the couple over the visit on social media and the meeting even drew the ire of former GOP South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

"Let's be clear, Joe and Mika didn't suddenly see the light, they saw their ratings. They realized they needed Trump for their survival," Haley posted to X.
