Suddenly on February 22, 2008, Joseph Zielinski Sr., age 72, passed away at Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, N.J.
Born in Wilkes Barre, Mr. Zielinski has been a resident of Cherry Hill since 1977. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Joseph also worked as the district manager for the Naval Audit. He was an active parishioner at St. Thomas More Parish in Cherry Hill and a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 6173 in Cherry Hill.
Joseph is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Cynthia “Cindy” (nee Novak ); his 3 children, Karen Sue (Peter) Suetterlein, Phd., Joseph A. (Julia) Zielinski Jr. and Michael (Yvonne) Zielinski; his 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Christin, Barry, Kylie and Grant with two grandchildren on the way; his brothers, Chester and Walter Zielinski; his sisters, Jane Stoshak and Alice Zyskowksi; 32 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike (at Kings Highway), Haddon Heights, N.J. There will be a viewing on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1439 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, N.J.where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, N.J.
