Sports Josh Allen Sends Strong Message to Caleb Williams

Many fans were excited to see how Caleb Williams would fare in the NFL in the Chicago Bears high-powered offense after he was selected with the first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Yet through two games, Williams has struggled (37/66, 267 YDS, 0 TD, 2 INT), and he's received his fair share of criticism as a result.

While he didn't like C.J. Stroud attempting to give him some encouragement after the Houston Texans win over the Bears in Week 2, that didn't stop another quarterback from trying to lend a helping hand. Josh Allen recently shared some advice with Williams, saying that he still has a lot of football left to play for people to judge him on.

It's rare for a rookie quarterback to come into the NFL and immediately succeed. Williams has high expectations surrounding him, but it's worth remembering Allen struggled quite a bit with the Buffalo Bills before he turned himself into a superstar.

Overreactions happen from fans and the media all the time, so Allen's message to Williams is to not get too caught up in all the chatter surrounding him, as he's only played two games in the league.

It's fair to say Williams hasn't looked good so far for the Bears, but Allen is proof that you shouldn't judge a player on their first few games in the league, and it will be interesting to see if the rookie can make a leap as the season goes on.
