Justin Fields Throws George Pickens Under the Bus as Mike Tomlin Breaks Silence on WR’s Benching

S.Chen35 min ago
George Pickens was the limelight of media attention after the Steelers' Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Amidst Pickens trade rumors of sending him to an AFC powerful team, Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin was asked on the WR's limitation in the game. To which, he stated the reason behind it as "snap management," and that "there's no underlying story."

However, it's speculated that something isn't going right in the locker room. And this was also evident in quarterback Justin Field's comment in the post-game presser. When a curious reporter asked, "Why was it difficult to get George Pickens involved in offense," the quarterback expressed , "George Pickens didn't get involved as he usually does today."

This arguably means Fields is blaming it all on Pickens for not being able to beat his corner. And hence, the team lost 20-17 to the Cowboys on October 6.
