Inducing panic: Bainbridge Road

On September 9, the student resource officer received information from an email threatening people would be harmed. A suspect was identified, and the juvenile admitted sending the email. He was suspended and charged with inducing panic in juvenile court.

Drunk driving: Lorain Road

On September 8, police were dispatched for a hit-skip near Root Road. Officers found both vehicles and arrested a man and cited him for open container, drunk driving, stopping after an accident, willful disregard of safety on public streets and assured clear distance.

Theft: Center Ridge Road

A caller identified a suspect in the theft of at least $150,000 from Inner Circle Advisors on September 7.

A woman found a stolen phone with credit card and identification information in her son's closet on August 13. The matter was referred to Lorain County Juvenile Court, where the suspect faces charges of identity fraud, theft from the elderly and misuse of credit card – possession.

On September 17, a man reported he had contacted the FBI regarding a theft of more than $150,000 in a case of identity fraud. He needed to make a report to receive a new driver's license.

The Sheetz manager reported receive several counterfeit bills on September 19.
