Kate Ritchie involved in multi-vehicle accident in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs

Kate Ritchie was involved in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Sydney 's Eastern Suburbs.

The Nova 96.9 radio presenter was reportedly behind the wheel of her black BMW X5 xDrive40i 2023 when the incident unfolded on Dudley Street, Randwick, resulting in significant damage to several vehicles.

According to eyewitness accounts, Ritchie's BMW collided with a parked Mitsubishi Pajero, forcefully pushing it off the road and into a parked Kia.

The owner of the Kia, who wished to remain anonymous, identified Ritchie as the driver of the BMW and confirmed that she exchanged details with him following the collision.

The witness, who recognised the actress immediately, reported that Ritchie seemed composed and expressed her need to leave promptly to pick up her child.

He stated that her personal assistant would follow up on the matter, adding that Ritchie did not appear under the influence of alcohol .

However, no roadside sobriety test was administered as the police did not attend the scene.

All three vehicles involved suffered substantial damage and were later towed away from the suburban street.

The extent of the damage to Ritchie's luxury BMW was evident as it was hoisted onto the tow truck, with severe front-end damage visible.
