Kathleen B. Groff, 78, of Harveys Lake, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012, at her home.

She was born July 23, 1934, in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Robert and Blanche Dlugoszewski Rose.

She was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School and was formerly employed for the Social Security Administration. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Groff; son, Richard Groff; brother, Edward Rose; sister, Marion Sampson.

Surviving are her son, Anthony Groff of Harveys Lake with whom she resided with, and his wife, Gayle, of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Victoria, and Anthony Jr.; step-granddaughter, Cathy Irwin; great-grandchildren, Todd, Breanna; brother, Robert Rose and his wife, Maryann of Mountain Top; nieces and nephews, Bill Sampson, Bob Sampson, Eric Rose, Melissa Rose, Scot Rose, and Kim Krofchok.
