Katy Perry announces huge world tour and is 'excited' to bring daughter Daisy, 4, on the road with her in the UK

Katy Perry is heading on an iconic world tour and is 'excited' to bring daughter Daisy along on the road.

The pop star, 40, shares her four-year-old toddler with partner Orlando Bloom and said she is looking forward to having 'fun adventures together' as they travel the world.

Katy announced that her Lifetimes Tour will be visiting arenas across the UK in 2025 and she gushed that she loves how 'inclusive' London is.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker will kick off her tour in Mexico next April before taking it to Australia and will be performing across the UK next October.

Katy will take to the stage in London, Glasgow , Manchester, Sheffield and Birmingham starting on October 7th next year.

Speaking to The Sun , she said: 'I'm really excited Daisy can join me on this world tour. She is four now and then she'll turn five on the road. Time really does fly.

'Some of my single friends that don't have children, whenever they come and visit, and they only see her every six months or what have you, they're like, 'Whoa, she's grown'. It's like, time is happening, it's ticking.

'I'm so excited to introduce her to a lot of places in the world and we'll be having a fun adventure together.

'I know our days off will be fun playgrounds and outdoor adventures. In the UK we love the parks. We already spend quite a lot of time during the summer in London so we love it so much.

'We have such a good feeling when we're there. It's so inclusive and it's so built for families.'

Katy also revealed that she feels like she has 'grown up' with her fans after playing her very first gig at a small pub in London before her career took off in the late 2000s.

She said: 'I remember my first show at Water Rats. It was amazing. I remember walking through and meeting my first fans, like my first English fans, and they're still around, they're still coming to the shows. I see them now and we've grown up together. And they're still out there cheering me on.

'It's so lovely. It's a real reciprocated love affair. I called this tour the 'Lifetimes Tour' because I feel like I've grown up with my fans.

'I'm so blessed to have already had a lifetime of familiar songs that fans have adopted as the soundtracks to their lives, and to continue making music for them my whole life.'

But UK fans won't have to wait long to see Katy perform in the UK as she is set to headline her first show in the UK in some six years.

The singer promised fans a 'futuristic' sci-fi performance when she confirmed she will headline the Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard at London's The O2 on December 8.

'I'm so excited to be coming back to the UK, I love it!' the 13-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter told Capital Breakfast, before adding, '[I'll] hopefully follow that up with more [shows].'

This will be the pop star's first headlining show in England since she did a trek through Europe in the UK as part of Witness: The Tour (2017-2018), in support of her fifth studio album Witness (2017).

Katy, who will be out on the road in support of her most recent studio album 143, will perform some of the new songs, some hits, all while keeping with the holiday spirit.

'I'm definitely gonna bring some pizzazz,' she shared, before adding, 'I always give a little Christmas spirit to it.

She added, 'I'm gonna be bringing some new songs off of 143. I've been doing a lot of performances that are kind of futuristic, a little sci-fi, and so everything has a little bit of that edge to it right now. I'm just gonna try and bring my light and my joy.'

The show will be the pop star's first Jingle Bell Ball since she performed at the event in 2013.
